what i should have

tonight, while on facebook i came across a profile that made me smile, and think. all of the statuses were thankful and happy and had cheerful bible verses. she was saying how much god was blessing her life and how happy she is. seeing all of that, i wanted it. sometimes all it takes is seeing others happiness to make you realize what you could have. so thank you, random facebooker, so guess who's doing bible study tomorrrrrow?

also, i am on facebook too much. i am really considering deleting it but, i probably won't follow through.

in other news, intent to enroll ;)

"because i knew you, i have been changed for good."

i read an article that made me cry. i mean not little tears, but big ugly tears. i don't know why but it did.

it really made me think of the kind of person that i am, how i treat other people, how i want to live my life, how i spend my time, the love i show to people even strangers. it made me want to hug my parents forever because i know one day they won't be here. it made me want to call my best friend and tell her that i love her. it made me want to apologize to the people that i have recently hurt. it made me want to spend time with my little sister because soon she will be in college, married, and all grown up.

i don't want to have regrets, i don't want to live my life and not change someone's life. i want to help others, to love others, to give a child the love that they don't receive at home.

so to everyone reading this, even though it may be few, i love you, you are beautiful, and you mean the world to someone.

priorities

these last two days have been really hard on me. why? i have no idea, but anytime i see something remotely upsetting or sad or mean, i just want to cry. but i'm over it now.

i think that when i got called out on my 'immaturity' it really shook me. i wasn't ready for it and it made me take a look at my actions. when i stress out about things, i don't just talk about it or ask for help, i freak out and lash out. but i lash out sometimes in anger (it doesn't happen a lot though), sadness (i just cry and shut down), or immaturity. i don't like that about myself but at least i recognize it now and can work on it.

i want to be a good person and i now understand that i can't do it without god being a main priority. he is always on my mind but lately other things have gotten in the way, and that breaks my heart to even say that.

god, family, friends, and i'll fit school in there i guess...

i say i'm sorry a lot

wah.

so, i have a large personality flaw and i would really like to fix it. it comes out at inappropriate times and it screws me over in the end.

being young at heart is good at sometimes and bad at others. i need to control my "youthfulness." if that makes sense at all. someone told me that i act older than i really am yesterday but i totally took 500 steps back today.

i'm sorry for being immature. i really am trying.

no regrets

i have no regrets.

i have done some silly, stupid things in my time but i have no regrets. every dollar i have spent, every boy i have kissed, every yes or no i have said. i can honestly say that i have no regrets. just lessons learned.

anyways, i need to get back to the gym, getting sick can really make you not want to work out, but i am still motivated, more than ever really. with all of the uncertainty in my life right now, i know that when i go tot the gym, i will run and work my hardest. i never thought i would say this, but working out i a part of my life?! ahhh, revelation time.

runnin' runnin'

tonight i went to the gym after a 2 day break. i didn't mean to not go to the gym but i haven't had enough time to go (i know, i know, excuses, excuses). so i made time after work to go work out.

tonight was a cardio kind of night, so i got on to the cross trainer, set my goal time, turned up the dubstep, and got to it. then, it hit me, i wanted to die. i was so tired and i had only been on for 10 minutes. so i had to clear my mind, listen to the bass of my music and go. and i did. when i finally looked down at the minutes remaining, i was at 5 minutes. THANK GOODNESS. i was so caught up in my music and everyone else at the gym that i didn't want to pass out anymore.

going to the gym has become a habit. and i must say that of all habits, this would be one to pick up. when i am at the gym i feel good, like i am doing something to better myself. it is my choice to be there, and i make the choice to work out. this is something that i am doing for myself. not for doctors or boys or anyone. i want this. i make the choice to get sweaty and have sore feet. it's worth it, and it will always be worth it.

things that i learned tonight:
-dubstep keeps me motivated and gets me excited
-once i am past the 15 minute mark of my cardio, it really is smooth sailing
-i can do anything i put my heart to
